Pakistan, Islamabad News : PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that no power could stop Pakistanis from establishing a naya Pakistan.
Addressing the participants of Azadi March on Saturday, Khan said no matter how many policemen are deployed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, time has come for a naya Pakistan.
“Mr. Nawaz Sharif, you have no idea about Pakistanis as you were raised in a nursery of dictator,” he said.
He said that nation would never forgive Maulana Fazlur Rehman for making abusive remarks against women and children. He challenged Fazlur Rehman to win a single seat in the next elections.
“The government tried to scare us from the threats of suicide attacks. But it cannot beat PTI’s passion…We are standing up for our rights. It is national awakening,” he said.
“Pakistani nation, you are not a herd of sheep. You have rights.”
Khan pledged that he would bring Nawaz Sharif to justice after coming into power.
He warned police chiefs of Islamabad and Punjab to refrain from launching crackdowns on peaceful protests. “We will lodge a murder case against Chaudhry Nisar Ali and his team,” he said.
“A few families are occupying Pakistan in the name of democracy. The Pakistani nation has decided that it wants genuine democracy in the country. We don’t want plundering of our wealth in the name of democracy”
The PTI chief said that Aafia Siddiqui was picked along with her three minor children and handed over to the United States. He recalled that American spy Raymond Davis shot three Pakistanis on the streets of Lahore and later he was given safe passage.
